At the 4th National Symposium on Industrial Technology – GEP 2026, Triniton took part in another important event focused on technology, innovation, and industrial development.
During the event, Marcos Geris, Partner and Director at Triniton, participated in the program with the presentation “Sustainability in Fuel Utilization,” providing the audience with insights into efficiency, process integration, and the improved use of energy resources within industrial plants.
The presentation addressed the importance of analyzing each operation from an integrated perspective, considering not only fuel consumption but also the relationship between steam generation, production, cogeneration, and energy utilization.
Among the topics discussed was the integration of different industrial processes and the possibilities for more efficient biomass utilization. In plants with different operations, better use of biomass can contribute both to power generation and to meeting process steam demands, always taking into account the specific characteristics and requirements of each facility.
Another point highlighted was the importance of selecting the appropriate combustion system. Each type of fuel has its own characteristics, such as moisture content, particle size, and combustion behavior, factors that directly influence operational performance.
The presentation introduced different combustion system concepts and emphasized that the choice of technology must be aligned with the actual conditions of each project.
The distribution and control of combustion air were also among the topics addressed. Proper adjustment of this process contributes to greater operational stability and makes it possible to respond to the natural variations in biomass during industrial operation.
In addition to combustion analysis, the presentation expanded the discussion to the plant’s complete thermal cycle.
Efficiency is not concentrated solely in the boiler, but also in how steam is used, in power generation, condensate return, feedwater heating, and heat recovery throughout the process.
This integrated approach reinforces the importance of evaluating the plant as a complete system, identifying opportunities for improvement that contribute to greater efficiency and better energy utilization.
Triniton’s participation in GEP 2026 also provided opportunities for exchanging experiences, building relationships, and connecting with industry professionals, strengthening discussions on the current challenges facing the industry and the possibilities for process improvement.
More than presenting solutions, participating in events such as GEP means contributing technical knowledge, sharing experiences, and closely following the transformations taking place in the industrial market.
Triniton continues to combine engineering, technology, and experience to develop high-performance solutions for steam and power generation, equipment, and integrated industrial projects.
The company’s participation in the event reinforces its commitment to an increasingly efficient, integrated, and sustainable industry.
